Dreaming
I had a dream last night about being trapped in a girls' school, where people were trying to stab me with scissors and things. But that's not important. The important part is that at one point, I was trapped in a small room with a lot of useless things that I had collected/rescued. I was sitting there surrounded by these things: a one-eyed kitten, a knife with no handle, glass bottles of various colors, all of these things. The room was tiled, and there was a drain in the floor. At some point, clean water began to rise up out of the drain. It filled the room. I was able to breathe and move. The water was sweet, better than air. It filled the room, found cracks in the walls and spilled out. Eventually, it burst the walls, washing away everything. The flood washed away the junk (I worried about the kitten), leaving me with only the essential things. (I used that phrase in the dream, "essential things". I got in a van and left, but had to go back for the necklace that BG made for me, the domino icon of Oshun.
I do, upon occasion, see other powers in my dreams. Every once in a while, Lugh drops by, pokes me with a pointy stick, and tells me to go learn something or another. Every now and again I find a deity or two in the background, hanging out or passing through. But Oshun seems to dominate the medium.
