Gaia Ritual Announcement

Ladies and gentlemen,

The Reduced Aristophanes Company, purveyors of fine art and
craftiness since long about last Thursday, is proud to present:
Dionysia!: A Satyr Play (with room to play), this Sunday, October
3rd, at 4:00 p.m. at Gaia Community.

Please come ready to play as well as to pray, and we'll be
celebrating the wine harvest, so please bring some grapes. It'll be
fun, we promise.

The Dionysia is not for the faint of heart - this ritual is rated R
for nudity, blasphemy, piracy, punning, bad accents and mild peril.
18 and up only, please.

Hmmm...this announcement brings many questions to mind. Should we be prepared to join in the nudity? Should we bring our favorite flavor of wine to share? Are toga-like garments required or strongly recommended? The rest I am sure I can not only handle, but have practiced on a daily basis. Please advise!

As to nudity, in the immortal words of Tyler Durden, you determine your own level of involvement. I do not anticipate that anyone will be asked to strip down during the course of ritual, but if you have the inclination to do so without being asked, I do not anticipate that anyone will stop you.

As to wine, there will be wine present at ritual already, but some folks will no doubt bring their own.

As to dress, the toga, being Roman, would be somewhat gauche, but the khiton, being Greek, would be fabu. (As far as I can tell, the difference between these garments mostly consists of the name.)

Fun, games, etc. See you at the ritual!
