And it's only Tuesday.

There is something fundamentally not right about a situation in which someone gives you information which is incorrect, and then berates you for applying the incorrect information. I assume that when someone asks me to do a thing, that is the thing that they really want me to do, and are not merely asking me to do one thing when what they actually want is something entirely different.

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't appreciate people wasting my time in this manner, especially when the person in question is going to follow up the time-wasting with a screaming session about why the thing that they wanted but never asked for didn't get done.

support group?

It sounds like several of us need to get together, drink monkey shots, and gripe about our managers.

My typical response to that one is: sorry, I'm an empath; I don't get words, just feelings. You'll actually have to tell me what you want instead of just wanting me to read your mind.

screaming session
I don't think a screaming session is ever appropriate in an business situation (and can think of few times it would be appropriate otherwise).

Sorry your day is sucking... Hope things get better.

The screaming session thing has really got to go. Is there any way you can speak to the people who placed you there, so that perhaps they can provide a little pressure where you are not able to?

That's not cool; I can't really fathom how this company does as well as it does with all the F/U business practices in your office.

I empathize with your bad day. I've been in that situation myself a time or two. Unfortunately i don't have great words of wisdom for you, but screaming sessions and broken down communication, never make for a good, productive work environment. With Venus eclipsing the sun today ( i think) may you find a happier lovilier place at some point today.

Double Bastards. That's all I have to say.
