Just so you all can laugh at me :)

The Places I've Been List

1) Alabama, 2) Alaska, 3) Arizona, 4) Arkansas, 5) California, 6) Colorado, 7) Connecticut, 8) Delaware, 9) Florida, 10) Georgia, 11) Hawaii, 12) Idaho, 13) Illinois, 14) Indiana, 15) Iowa, 16) Kansas, 17) Kentucky, 18) Louisiana, 19) Maine, 20) Maryland, 21) Massachusetts, 22) Michigan, 23) Minnesota, 24) Mississippi, 25) Missouri, 26) Montana, 27) Nebraska, 28) Nevada, 29) New Hampshire, 30) New Jersey, 31) New Mexico, 32) New York, 33) North Carolina, 34) North Dakota, 35) Ohio, 36) Oklahoma, 37) Oregon, 38) Pennsylvania, 39) Rhode Island, 40) South Carolina, 41) South Dakota, 42) Tennessee, 43) Texas, 44) Utah, 45) Vermont, 46) Virginia, 47) Washington, 48) West Virginia, 49) Wisconsin, 50) Wyoming, 50.5) Washington DC

The bolds are places I've been, the italics are places I've been through but didn't stop, or only visited the airport in, and the bold + italics are places I've lived. I've never been out of the country, so that list isn't necessary.

I laugh at you for other reasons.

Shameful, that I've been to so many places around the world, but not to nearly so many places in my own mind as you. Some of us just don't need to go anywhere physically -- you've got the worldliest worldview of just about anyone I know, honey.

That's pretty impressive ... I don't remember leaving the country, so either I was very small or very wasted if I did.

I think I'm going to borrow this state list and see what if I can do anything interesting with it ... (yeah, I know, it's a 50.5 state list I can get from anywhere, but it is right in front of me now, here).

Ok, you need to go west, I need to go south, and we both need to get out of the country. :) Thank gods [livejournal.com profile] tridruid hasn't posted his yet... ::grumble grumble:: ;)
ext_3038: Red Panda with the captain "Oh Hai!" (building a henge are we?)

What's that supposed to mean?

There's always Mexico...

(instigate, instigate, instigate!)

I know, I know. It doesn't make sense geographically to add that onto the NOLA trip, though... we'll have to plan another stupid week to go to Mexico :)

[identity profile] zylch.livejournal.com 2004-01-14 03:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Take yet another trip? Oh, the pain, the agony.

Besides, as I think on it it's probably a Bad Idea to try to take a car that neither of us owns out of the country, especially if we're kidnapping people at the time.

Mexico!

I'm all for Mexico - been wanting to go for some time - having wonderful fantasies of languishing on a beach or in a hammock or in an open air cottage....(in my fantasy there are no bugs)Ocean or Gulf breezes blow...loads of delicious food and lots of bottled water....excellent music, company, conversation, tequila....
Yup - I could dig that.
