The word of the day is "quiddity", the distinctive quality of a thing. Taken from this article, which is about a book of words and phrases particular to Indian English. Apparently they're very fond of rhyming words as well. And as I'm very fond of rhyming words, and tomorrow is Friday, hence pub crawl day, the word of the day for tomorrow may well be "whisky-pisky".
