Life's Little Defeats
Not so much the good so far today... I'm starting a list of things that nobody should have to do, ever. Here's what I've got so far:
- have nightmares about *someone else's* wedding.
- fail at drinking hot coffee so as to introduce the substance to one's lung.
- trip over one's own sandal and re-bang-up the already banged-up knee.
Blef. Grumblefuck. Fner.
In addition, the boss keeps calling in and having one of the other girls go outside and talk to her on their cellphones. That's just weird.
AND... It's Siren Testing Day. I want to go home.

Just when you thought it was safe
I had been feeling moderately better, due to some insights produced by a conversation with Dan, the Abbot of Lesbians. And then I decided to go to lunch. Seriously, my waitress quit in the middle of the shift. That's what kind of day this is. I'm trying not to take that as a further omen.
The things I discovered in the Dan conversation are still valid though, and I will likely write them down at some point this afternoon.
