Interview from zylch

1. In someone's VR question, you said that texture was very important. What's your favorite texture?
Clean hair. Followed closely by angora knit, raw silk, and light chain maille.

2. Mountains, desert, forest, or ocean? Why?
Ocean. I require a reasonably high baseline humidity to breathe comfortably, and I like the salt smell.

3. What's the most important thing you learned or changed as a result of your year on the priest side of the Pillar?
Oddly enough, I learned that while there were definite limits to my available resources, they were further away from my normal usage than I thought. Also, I began to learn how to refill when my resources are low.

4. If you could achieve a major spiritual goal, but only by foregoing sex for [a prohibitive but not impossible length of time], would you do it?
It depends. If the spiritual goal would be achievable when wildly cranky, I might do it. However, I find crankiness to much more often be a block to achievement than sexual activity, so the situation doesn't come up all that often. Anyway, if I thought it would work, and it was important, I probably would.

5. Usually I hear death metal or weird eurotrance when I'm at EHQ. What's your music like?

My collection is also pretty eclectic. There's a lot of 80's/new wave/goth therein, also some world music (including, but not limited to: norteno, arabic pop, various drumming, various celt-rock, and a host of less readily describable stuff), some electronica/trance, some swing (new and old), some rockabilly, some ska, some punk, some cabaret rock, some folk (mostly lesbian folk), and some Django Reinhart, who gets a category all his own. Also, Squirrel Nut Zippers. I loves me some Squirrel Nut Zippers. Of course, some of the metal and some of the weird eurotrance is also mine.
